I decided 12 years ago that it was time for me to move out of my parents home and venture on my own. So I looked for a neighborhood that was safe, reasonably priced and had taxes that I can handle. After a few months of searching I stumbled upon a listing and was introduced to Raj Maraj. He understood what I wanted and knew the Queens area like the back of his hand. Raj introduced me to areas I overlooked and fully informed me why other areas were not a good fit for me. The time, knowledge and laughter ( I must say he is really funny) was appreciated and needed. Who would have ever knew that this realtor would have become my closest friend. He truly cares about his clients and I found that out when I ran into trouble with an investment in Brooklyn and never mentioned anything to him till the last min. Not knowing at the time he was able to assist me with the sale of a multi family in another borough. Raj and his brokers made a few phone calls and my building that was listed with another company for five months with little to no hits was sold by Raj in three weeks. I was so relieved, I don't even think to this day he knows how much him and his team working so diligently has given me the opportunity to do so much more after that transaction. To this day he walks side by side with me when I'm doing business now even when it doesn't have to do with real estate. A true friend and a great business man, I'm almost getting tearing eyes writing this. In my opinion in doesn't get any better when dealing with a broker. He has proven himself and has not let me down. Those who are currently working with him can relate to this message. Raj assistance and attention that was given to my sister and I on the estate that we had up for sale while being a out of state resident was helpful to our needs and relieve the stress of not being able to be in the area.
