Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Yes! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is smarter. They’re worth the investment, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.
